Pinnacle Mountain Trip - June 3

Just like every year that Gaige attended LISA they go to Pinnacle Mountain for a field day. Which means the kids run around at the park for hours. So we stopped by Dunkin Donuts, which I got the Mocha Latte that I strongly recommend, before we dropped him off. Bethany and I decided to go up to the Visitor Center to look around. She wanted to see if they still had the bugs you can eat since they did the "I ate a bug club" a while back. They didn't have any but we were told that they just got a new Queen bee and the hive was really active. They have honey there but not any bees wax, which I would love to have.
Although Bethany had been up there before she didn't remember it. We went up to the scenic overlook and she scared an Eagle then a huge buzzard came up and sat on the branch. I have pictures. I will have Sean send me the ones he did so I can post them too.
Also when we were up there I was thinking, I know not always a great idea, but I thought we should all start walking the trails. Dad wants to start walking and this is a great place with perfect scenery. So we have made plans to start the trails.

April Fool's Day

This is a day that I don't really care for. Immature people playing prakes on people that shows just how immature they really are. And no, I didn't get hit with an April Fool's Day prank.

Well yesterday was Easter. It was much smaller this year than in the past. It was only us, Dad, Mark and Britney. But that is okay. We had already cut the menu back and this just meant I had less left overs.

And you know with all the phones with cameras we never take pictures. Maybe that should have been my new years resolution, had I actually made any. But it was still good. The kids are getting to big to do the Easter Egg hunt anymore. I sort of mess it. We as adults were mean, we really hid the eggs so they had to look. And each year we made it harder and harder.I can just imagine how hard our kids will hid them when the time comes with their kids.

But I promise that in the future that I will take pictures. The next holiday is coming in a month and 1/2. Mother's Day that will be harder for us this year. But to help with it a bit, Dad's 70th birthday is that next week. I am planning on having a party for him. So if you read this keep it quiet for now.

Guess that is all I had to say for now. The kids testing is coming up next week. Sean is at LISA Academy so I don't have to worry about his, just have to take Bethany. I am just glad she was accepted to LISA for next year. I will get to go back to work and get out of the house.

Chicken Little

Bethany and I were in Academy Sports the other day and she picked up this face mask. When she put it on the tag that was at the top squeezed it together and made it look like a chicken. The nose piece made it look even more like a chicken so we took a picture.

 Now this is funny!!!!
